XP_INI_WRITE

This XP allows data which is not an integer or string to be persisted to an ini file. The underlying SDK function used is “WritePrivateProfileStruct”. Internally this function encodes each byte of data to write as two ASCII characters, which represents that value’s hexadecimal value. It also appends a simple checksum to the value when it is written to the ini file. For example if the ASCII string value “ABCD” is used, you would end up with

[Section]
StringKey=414243440A

Remember that ini files are designed to hold simple small data types, so you should avoid using this function to store large amounts of data.
